Biography:
"John McDonald began absorbing Maine words and phrases over fifty years ago in Tenants Harbor. Over the years he has continued soaking up the distinctive inflections of Maine while working as a reporter for the Bangor Daily News, Portland Press Herald, and Lewiston Sun Journal. These days he performs as a storyteller, writes a syndicated newspaper column, and hosts a popular talk show on WGAN (AM 560) in Portland."
